About me
I’m Aidan, a digital expert based in Gent, Belgium. I specialise in web development and digital marketing. I build awesome websites and know how to drive traffic to them.
For over 15 years, I’ve been developing websites. It started as a hobby in my teens and grew into a full-time job after University. I’ve been creating websites with WordPress, including themes and plugins for over 10 years.
Before I decided to start my own business in 2022, I was a digital project manager for a fantastic marketing agency in Gent. There, I worked in many different areas, including website development, project management, email development and automation etc. We worked with a number of large multi-national companies (Janssen, Solvay, Umicore), as well as smaller businesses and startups.
I designed and developed emails and marketing campaigns in platforms such as HubSpot, MailChimp and Eloqua. I performed keyword research, improved SEO, ran Google AdWords and social media campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. I reviewed website and marketing campaign analytics, and came up with strategies to improve site visits, click-through rates and ultimately, business objectives.
In between my freelance work, I’m also an amateur artist, sportsman and musician. I’m an avid reader and love to travel.
